Getting Them Off the Web

There’s nothing worse than constantly having to get your kids off the computer and that’s the state I’m in right now. We got Satellite Internet Broadband for the house and my sons have been online wayyyy too much recently if you ask me – they’re always playing video games or instant messaging with their friends which sounds harmless enough until you add up the time they’re spending online. I don’t want to totally seem like bad cop but I guess I just can’t relate to their desire to get on the web all the time since I didn’t have that option growing up and I don’t really know who to talk to about the whole thing. Their mother says it’s fine but something in me keeps nagging me, telling me to get them off that computer and get them outside more often and I just don’t know how to brooch the subject with them without them thinking I’m totally “uncool” when it comes to technology which I guess I am, if you want to know the truth.

Kid's Room

I finally bought my kids their study table and a book rack. I always dream of I am planning to decor their room, make a space for studying and playing.  I am finally done with their study area. I used the portion of their room that is near the window so that they can use the daylight instead of opening the light.

I bought two table and chairs, a book rack and rags for each of them for reading time.
