Moving was tough on all of us but I think my son Marcus took it the hardest. I know that there are always things that are hard to leave behind but his best friendChris was so close to him and I feel like that’s a big part of why the move was so tough for him. We did all the stuff we were supposed to do like go to www.texaselectricityproviders.com for the house and get him enrolled in school but it’s been about 6 months and he’s showing no signs of getting used to it here in Texas. I actually love it and I know my husband does too so I think the both of us are just waiting for him to come around at some point. I wish there was a magic button to make this all easier on him but you know, at the end of the day this is going to help him learn to be more adaptable and that’s ever a bad thing, am I right?

Today while I was watching my favorite show, “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit”, about half way into the show, I realize that I had already seen the episode. I swear that I think that I have seen every episode of that show ever made. So while I was watching, I decided to take care of some things on the internet. I even did it on my ipad. If a rerun comes on, I usually multi-task. Ever since I got my ipad, I have been much more productive. It is so easy to carry that light ipad and surf the web. Traditional Way of Sending Documents

Receiving letters via mail post is what we used to have before having this so called “email” (electronic mail). But then again, mail post is very useful though, especially when we need to send out important documents or hardcopy of some data to someone who is away from our place.mailbox posts can still be used though we are in generation of high-tech gadgets and stuffs. Mailing papers through the means of mail post is indeed still useful in some other ways. There may be ways on how to send documents in easy ways such as via fax but then original copy is still the best to have. And so, traditional way of sending documents is still recommended.Like here in Arkansas, I didn't expect people are still old fashioned when it comes to sending bills and promo ads. Most of the time I am receiving promotional stuff and bills in our mail even we are already paying online.  But for me, receiving letters in the mailbox is still nicer than receiving an E-mail. Maybe I am an old fashion too but Yes, I still prefer to have it in my mail box than my Inbox.

When to Start Looking For House?

My husband and I have been dreaming of having our own house someday. We wanted to have our own house here in Arkansas since his work is here and the school of my kids are very nice! I just started with my new career this month and I am so inspired of working because my goal is to save money for our house. I am thinking of looking for house and lot available in our area now but isn't too early for that? I don't know either, I am just so excited and I can't help dreaming about it already.
I hope everything will turn okay according to our plan or God's plan, and I hope soon, we will be able to buy our nest!

I am starting to realize that my parents are getting older. My mom is 26 years older than me and I have always felt really close to her. We have always been able to go everywhere together. She recently went with me to take my kids to the zoo and she became really tired after we had been there a few hours. It made me think about the fact that she and my dad are not as young as they once were. Sometimes I worry about their safety in their home. I used to think that my dad was invincible and that he could protect himself against anything. However, he has had some health issues lately and is not as strong as he once was. I talked to my dad about looking into ADT home security for their house and I think I convinced him that it would be wise to have some kind of system installed. He agreed to it after I told him that it would make my mom feel safer. I am sure it is hard to come to the realization that you’re getting older.

My Childhood Friend

My childhood friend is now back to Canada after having a few months vacation in the Philippines. She is a contract worker in a mall somewhere in Canada. She worked for 2 years already as a sales lady then came home to Philippines after her contract and now back to Canada again and this time as supervisor in the same mall.

My friend is always as hard working as before. She really wants to go abroad and find her luck in other country and she succeeded. With two years of stay in Canada, she was able to purchase a house and had a water business. I admire her for being so thrifty, she really knows how to manage her finances and she manage to invest in such a little span of time. Now that she's already married, she has to save for her future family. She is planning to have a baby after her contract. If possible, she also wants to stay in Canada for good. She is staying in an apartment right now and still looking for a better apartment in  Calgary Real Estate  in case she can petition her husband  soon. I wish she could have a baby soon coz that's what she really wants. And I wish she could get her husband and be together  soon.

Setting Up a Library for Both my Kids and Me

I have been blogging for four years now and I must admit I am still not good in writing. My husband said I can perfect it by reading more and more books bu I still think I need Professional writing help. Blogging is really a good career for a stay at home mom like me so I have to become good at it so I can earn more from it. BookwormLab.com  is offering Perfect writing service and I think I can have it anytime I want as long as  have time and resources.

Kitchen Sink Problem

I hate the new management in our apartment now. I am not comfortable with them. Base on my previous experience, they are not so friendly and they can't build a rapport with their tenants. I miss the former management, they are very accommodating especially the maintenance people that I can count on whenever I need them. The new maintenance  guy here in our community is not that accommodating and he always just say yes but he will keep you waiting forever. I have my problem with my sink tiles right now. I think the tile that they used is now separating from the wall. It's so untidy. I reported this before to the management but they don't have action until now. I wish I can just change it to metal tiles so I won't have any problem with the untidy look. I wish they will fix it soon or I will fix it myself!

It seems that fancy cupcakes are the new rage. I was out shopping with my daughter, and she mentioned that she would like to go to this cupcake store. I thought she was kidding, but she said that cupcakes are very popular right now. So I told her that I was game and took her up on going to the cupcake store. I mean really what is the big deal about cupcakes that you can have a whole store for them? Little did I know how big the cupcake business is. The cupcake store we went to had a list of all the flavors that they had for the year listed on the wall. Their plan is to have forty two flavors throughout the year. On any given day they will have six regular flavors and twelve different flavors that change. So you can pick from eighteen flavors each day. They told me they also have an online website where orders can be made over the internet. They keep up with all that through the internet service they have with www.t1internet.net. My daughter and I picked out a dozen cupcakes to take home. I was in shock when I saw how much it cost. There was a line of people out the door waiting to place their orders. I am definitely in the wrong business.

Should I Decor the House During Easter?

Our neighbor handed me these two cutie Easter Baskets last week. She said I can load it with stuffs and give it to kids on Easter! I remember our first EASTER here was last May if my memory serves me right. Our friend hosted a Easter celebration in their house, kids and adults had EGG decorating, paintings and the most fun part of all - EGG HUNTING!

This is our 2nd Easter here in Ar and I am thinking of decorating the house for Easter. I was looking for some tutorials online on how to decor the house without spending big bucks for it. I am thinking or recycling the egg shells we are using everyday and paint it and make a TREE with a lot of EGG shells. Hmm...I guess I still have more than a month to figure it out, what do you think?

The Circus

The first time I went to the circus I was three years old. I vaguely remember being there in the dark tent with my dad at my side. My mom likes to tell the story that my dad bought me a grape snow cone that I spilled all over my shirt. My dad got me a glow in the dark t-shirt, which I kept for many years. The next time I went to the circus I was 22 years old. My husband, who was my boyfriend at the time, took me for my birthday. I loved it so much and could not wait to go back. Our son is almost three years old and the circus will be coming to our city next month. I told my husband that I would love to take our son to the circus. He was hesitant at first and said that he thought our son was too young to remember anything about the circus and really enjoy it. Then he changed his mind and told me to go online and find tickets for the three of us. Luckily we had recently got Jamaica wireless internet service so I could easily find the tickets. I cannot wait to see my son’s face when we go to the circus. I think we will have a ton of fun.

Moving to Other Apartment?

My husband and I were thinking of moving to other apartment after our contract. It's not that we don't like our apartment anymore, we just wanted to have a new one and new environment and if possible, we wanted the one with a nice clubhouse and the one that is nearest in our kids' school.
My husband and I were always dreaming of having our own house soon but in our case, we can't afford to get a house yet. I guess I need to have a job first and help him earn so we can able to afford to have a house.
If ever we will acquire a house soon, my husband wanted it to be in Bentonville and wanted it to be a single detached bungalow house with indoor garage, with parking outside, 3-4 bedrooms and 2 baths,  All Double Glazing windows and most of all, with complete facilities in clubhouse.

Having our own house is the greatest material dream I always wanted! I hope my dream will come true soon!

Baby makes three

My son got a new marketing job in Wyoming. He works for a medical imaging company that has facilities all over the United States. This new job is a big promotion for him which will mean a lot more money. That is a good thing because he and his wife are expecting their first baby in about four months, and she wants to stay home with the baby and not work. Not many couples can do that anymore with the way the economy is these days. They are already starting to get their house ready for when the baby is born. The nursery is going to be so cute. The room is going to have a princess theme. They are even letting me make the curtains. I just love being involved in the whole process. The colors are pink and white, and the furniture is also white. There is a tiny chandelier light fixture that just sets the theme for the whole room. The house already had a tall privacy fence for their big back yard. They also got a security system through home security systems Wyoming. Now my son won’t be so worried about them when he is travelling for his job. It looks like they have everything under control. I can’t wait to become a grandmother.

Home Safety is a Priority

Taking care of my family and keeping them safe is a priority for me. Although we installed San Diego adt security when we moved in to our new home, I took many other steps to make sure we don’t have to worry about a break-in. The first two things I did after we closed on our home was change the locks and install deadbolts on all the exterior doors. Even though the home was new, we had no way of knowing exactly who had keys to it. Numerous contractors had been in and out and I felt like it was not worth taking the chance. Deadbolts are much safer than spring-latch locks which can be popped open with a credit card. Once I had those chores completed, I installed motion detecting lights on all four corners of the house. Any movement will cause them to come on, hopefully scaring any would-be intruders back in to the shadows. We also made a point to meet all of our neighbors and took the time to get to know them and their schedules and vehicles hoping they would do the same for us as well. I know they will let me know if they see anything suspicious and would gladly return the favor!
